Physicians Professional Liability Risk Retention Group, Inc. (PPLRRG) provides professional liability insurance coverage for physicians and related health care professionals.
Membership in PPLRRG is limited to licensed physicians and other healthcare professionals practicing at one of the following Florida hospital systems. Being a staff member of the named facilities does not guarantee a placement with PPLRRG. All physicians will be fully underwritten and a completed application will be required.

Since 2002, PPLRRG has been committed to providing the lowest possible rates and all market based credits for groups, part time and individual physicians with loss free practices. We have consistently demonstrated profitability as demonstrated by 18% to 30% of premiums being refunded back to PPLRRG members each year over the past decade. Our program offerings include a Physician Malpractice Program, a New Staff Physician Program, and, for our insured members, Long-Term Disability Coverage. The 2013 Medical Malpractice Financial Information closed claims report, named PPLRRG a top 21 Medical Malpractice carrier in Florida, based on direct written premium.
